TS-NBN-010 Split Conduit ‘Y’ Piece
The Y Connector has been designed with the following features:
The Y Connector is manufactured in two pieces with an upper and a lower section that is fitted over the continuous cable. It can be fitted without the need to cut the existing Telstra cable.
It comes with a reducer, to accommodate 10mm LiC’s, which can be removed for 20mm LiC’s.
Once fitted it will allow rodding of the Telstra conduit from the pit to the PCD and from the PCD to the pit.
The nbn™ conduit can be rodded from the PCD to the pit. The Y Connector is designed so the rodder will not enter the nbn™ conduit from the pit (unless guided).
Once fitted the Y Connector is permanent and is not designed to be separated in the future.
